PROJECT ROLE: ON SET Director & CINEMATOGRAPHER

"I Can Love You" tells the story of a San Diego-based rapper revealing a different side of himself to a girl who’s into him. As the Cinematographer and On-Set Director, my goal was to capture the balance between his tough persona and his ability to show love.

The video follows the two characters driving through the city at night, he streetlights and shadows create a sense of secrecy and connection. When they arrive at the apartment, the tone shifts to a playful, seductive scene inspired by Next Friday, where the rapper imagines the girl revealing her sexier side. This project was about showing that even gangstas can show a lil love.
